OCCUPY WALL STREET: The History Behind the Day of Action Poster? N17

What is the connection between Occupy Wall Street's Day of Action, November 17, 2011 and November 17, 1973?

Why November 17th?

What is the significance of November 17th?

Revolutionary Organization 17 November (Greek: Επαναστατική Οργάνωση 17 Νοέμβρη, Epanastatiki Organosi dekaefta Noemvri), (also known as 17N or N17) was a Marxisturban guerrilla organization (characterized as a terrorist group by the Greek state[1] and the United States[2] and the United Kingdom) formed in 1975 and believed to have been disbanded in 2002 after the arrest and trial of a number of its members. The group assassinated 23 people[3] in 103 attacks on U.S., British, Turkish and Greek targets

In Greece November 17 is day of celebration,  Athens Braces Itself for Protest Remembering Student Uprising:

"...November 17th is a day of celebration of the student movement that, in 1973, rose up against the then military junta in Greece. Although the uprising, centered around Athens’ Polytechnic University, was led by various left-leaning and communist student organizations at the time, the movement was broad-based and was instrumental in bringing down the colonels’ dictatorship that ruled the country for seven years.

The students’ struggle and their uprising is a moving tale of resistance against oppression and authoritarianism, and it’s remembered each year with gratitude by much of the Greek population.

People who are now in their late 50s or in their 60s were protagonists in the events leading to the end of dictatorship. And with its fall, began a new era in Greek history known as the “Metapolitefsi”—a composite word meaning “after the regime”, and also identified with the restoration of democracy in the country.

The so-called “Polytechnic generation” has of late been blamed for the country’s problems.

Some of the uprising’s prominent members proceeded to pursue political careers and became symbols of the Metapolitefsi. But in the last two decades, the spirit of the Metapolitefsi lost some of its revolutionary fervor and the Polytechnic generation became identified with a new era of consumerism in Greece, based on a national spending binge that was entirely unsustainable...."

Every year, the day is marked with demonstrations against both the establishment and the  intervention of foreign nations into Greek politics by the usual suspects, i.e., USA.

And so I ask, how many of the useful idiots who marched yesterday, Wednesday, November 17th, besides the Communist Party, Big Labor, Occupy Wall Street loons, community organizers and Democratic Socialist Party are even aware that they were celebrating a revolution in which Americans are despised that shed the blood of many, murdering 23 people in 103 attacks, some of which were Americans?
