“WASHINGTON — A third elderly flier who relies on a medical device says she was “traumatized” by a search at a Kennedy Airport security checkpoint after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Linda Kallish, 66, of Boynton Beach, Fla., counts on an insulin pump and a stash of fruit juice to control “erratic” diabetes, she told the Daily News.

Screeners from the federal Transportation Security Administration kept the fruit juice from her for 10 minutes while she waited for a pat-down and a second search in which she had to partially remove clothing to show an official her pump implant.

Kallish said she is willing to accept heavy security — including intrusive searches — but said the TSA must come up with a better way to check over fliers with acute medical needs.

In the meantime, the TSA stands by their policy that invading the fourth amendment of Americans, denigrating and sexually assaulting men, women and children is ‘procedure...”

On the one hand, John Pistole, TSA administrator continues to dismiss the complaints of senior Americans by insisting that the TSA does not strip-searched, i.e, TSA does not strip-search people.”

Yet while denying that the TSA is strip-searching senior Americans, Pistole attempts to justify the sexual assaults by stating that pat-downs are necessary of elderly passengers who choose to exercise their liberties by refusing the full body scanner.

Pistole makes a point of blaming those seniors “whose medical devices lead them to trigger the devices' alarms” as yet another excuse to invade the personal space of seniors.  “It is possible terrorists could deploy an older person to carry a bomb.

What a load of crap!

If that is the case, then the TSA must provide us with the statistics indicating exactly how many elderly Muslim men and women are being strip-searched.

That being said, how is it that the only seniors coming forward and being strip-searched are Caucasians? (or appear to be)
