Michelle Malkin: My child’s Common Core-aligned Algebra book is crap

Textbook giant Houghton-Mifflin has aligned its math books with federal "Common Core" standards. The books are selling well even though, as Twitchy founder/CEO Michelle Malkin demonstrated today, they are replete with jargon and mistakes.

How many of us have come across the above image at a school crossing?  And how often?  Better yet, have reviewed our children's exams only to realize that it is the teacher who is wrong?
More proof that our children are failing and as to why and who is responsible. Ugh!
