Boston terrorists’ family received $100,000 in government entitlements

As is being reported by the Boston Herald, between 2002 and 2012, the Tsarnaev family received approximately $100,000 in welfare benefits courtesy of American taxpayers in the form of food stamps, cash and Section 8 housing.
On Monday, Massachusetts state officials submitted 500 plus documents to the state’s House Post Audit and Oversight Committee who has commenced an investigation into the extent of government dependency by the Tsarnaev family and its legality.
“…’I can assure members of the public that this committee will actively review every single piece of information we can find because clearly the public has a substantial right to know what benefits, if any, this family or individuals accused of some horrific crimes were receiving,’ said state Rep. David Linsky (D-Natick), the committee’s chairman….”
Am I reading this right?  So now Progressives are concerning themselves with spending taxpayer dollars.  How selective.  That money is gone and never coming back.
It is the primary agenda of Progressives to fund illegal immigrants and anyone else with hand outs funded by taxpayers as was dispatched to the Tsarnaev family and that transformed America into a nation of takers.  Obama, the food stamp president would, of course, beg to differ.
“In President Obama's second inaugural address, he not only outlined an ambitious agenda for his second term but also seemed intent on shutting down debate about the social-welfare state and its impact on American life.
‘The commitments we make to each other—through Medicare, and Medicaid, and Social Security—these things do not sap our initiative; they strengthen us,’ Mr. Obama said. ‘They do not make us a nation of takers; they free us to take the risks that make this country great….”
It stands to reason that this investigation will neither prove nor change anything nor is it intended to.
After all, just three days earlier, Deval Patrick and his administration, citing deceased terrorist, Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s right to privacy, refused to provide the public with information about government entitlements doled out to the Tsarnaev family.  What changed?
Could it be that the real intent of this dog and pony show is to divert attention away from far more serious issues surrounding the terrorist attack and its handling by the Obama administration?
How about how the Obama administration intercepted the FBI’s interrogation of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev? What was Eric Holder’s role in the interception?  What is Janet Napolitano hiding?  DOJ?  DHS?  What about the first person of interest who has suddenly gone underground, i.e., the Saudi national and what role is Obama playing?  What is the Obama administration hiding?
Finally, if terrorists and potential terrorists living off of American taxpayers is such an issue with Progressives how is it that taxpayers picking up the tab for exorbitantly paid expert legal counsel and expert witnesses for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is not?
