Hospital Denies Leaking Grisly Post-Mortem Photo of Boston Marathon Bomb Suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
UPDATE: Reference the injuries of Boston Marathon Bomb Suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Torimom was kind enough to inform me of the following: "...The thoracotomy incision upper left chest is consistent with open cardiac massage -- the last-resort method of cardiac resuscitation...." She also confirmed that the "bruising on the face/head and right shoulder consistent with a blunt force/crush injury -- where the car ran over him...."
“A grisly post-mortem photo of one of the suspected Boston Marathon bombers appears to have been taken early today after medical personnel turned the body over to law enforcement officials.
The image of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, began circulating online this afternoon after it was posted on popular web sites like Reddit and 4chan. The source of the photo remains unclear....”
Dr. Richard Wolfe, chief of the hospital’s emergency medicine department insists that the hospital had nothing to do with and when the photograph of Boston Marathon Bomb Suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was taken from the waist up.
Although I have had a copy of the original post mortem photograph of Tsarnaev since this morning, I have chosen not to post the image on my blogs.
My first thought upon viewing the photograph which I stumbled upon was that someone actually took the time to cut this man’s heart out. While I respect the views of those who may feel otherwise, I don’t see what good can come out of posting this gruesome photograph.
The photograph that is available on THE SMOKING GUN is a cleaner version (if one can call it that) of the original but no less gory.
