NSA collecting millions of Verizon customer phone records DAILY; jihadists need not worry.

national security agency 002

“The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon, one of America's largest telecoms providers, under a top secret court order issued in April.
The order, a copy of which has been obtained by the Guardian, requires Verizon on an "ongoing, daily basis" to give the NSA information on all telephone calls in its systems, both within the US and between the US and other countries.
The document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of US citizens are being collected indiscriminately and in bulk – regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing.
The secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (Fisa) granted the order to the FBI on April 25, giving the government unlimited authority to obtain the data for a specified three-month period ending on July 19.
Under the terms of the blanket order, the numbers of both parties on a call are handed over, as is location data, call duration, unique identifiers, and the time and duration of all calls. The contents of the conversation itself are not covered…”

Verizon has declined to comment.
According to the White House, “gathering telephone records has been a ‘critical tool in protecting the nation from terrorist threats…”  Translation:  The NSA spying on Americans is a counter-terrorism tool to track the terrorist problem that Obama just last week said that no exists.
That in Obama’s world is no longer a threat to Americans; therefore, there is no need for the NSA to track jihadists.  Just track Americans who are disgruntled with the infringement of our liberties.
Chalk this latest act of treason up to yet another F-U motion of infringement by Obama Administration and anyone who participates.
As those of us who know better take the July 19th end date with a grain of salt, Americans must demand the names of the other communication companies under FISA order submitting the records of Americans to the NSA.

Finally, the overwhelming silence today from those on the left who attacked Bush43 several years ago has set me in such a state that if I hear another low information voter say, “Well, Bush did it” I will scream!
