SEIU Local 1, el commandante, Tyler French
...Members of the Chicago-based Service Employees International Union Local 1 have gone on strike over recent job cuts by a janitorial company called Professional Maintenance.
The reason for the cuts? The employer says it is because of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare….Continue reading
So another corporation has cut jobs and hours because of Obamacare much like 300 plus other corporations are doing across the United States but to appease the despot in the Oval Office and not tarnish his star, union leaders lie to their base and transfer the blame elsewhere.
Useful idiots under direction of SEIU Local 1, el commandante, Tyler French, are blaming the janitorial company, Professional Maintenance rather than lay the blame at the feet of unions guilty of deceiving their base while colluding in the White House (not really) with Barack Obama and his Commie extortionists on the ever so unpopular Obamacare.
While Professional Maintenance admits that Obamacare is the sole purpose for the cuts in jobs and hours, el commandante French, espouses lies to his badly informed sock puppets (membership) that said explanation is the “latest excuse in a long line of many that we’ve seen from corporate America.”
WARNING: I FEEL A RANT COMING ON…..
The unions helped build Obamacare ONLY because they thought that they would be the exception to the rule and not have to swallow the pill now being shoved down the throats of everyone else.
Now that the light of Obamacare is directly overhead and they’re getting a taste of that bitter pill, collective bargaining immediately resorts to the usual thug behavior and tactics by turning their wrath on employers instead of Obama. Chicken hearted COWARDS!!!!
If anything, unions helped build this catastrophe and they ALONE deserve to be the arbiters of such a nightmare.
Unfortunately, the likelihood exists that they will eventually escape the nightmare, a fate most undeserving.
As someone said the other day, under the cover of darkness, a deal will be made between Obama and the union (unless the extremely thin-skinned Obama who takes it personal that Americans despise his signature piece legislation tells collective bargaining to go to hell in a hand basket and stay there), the latter of which I don’t see happening.
Money, extortion and taking advantage of a crisis but first, the dog and pony shows.
Before any deal is hammered out between unions and Obama, there must first be several rounds of dog and pony shows, another of which began last Wednesday when SEIU-backed federal workers walked off their jobs for one day and marched on the White House for higher wages and improved benefits I am sure with the blessing of Obama. Federal workers are demanding that Obama sign an executive order to get them there.
Holding Obama’s Feet to the Fire on ‘Living Wage’ Executive Order
…Efforts to convince President Barack Obama to sign an executive order boosting the wages of some low-income workers at federal sites moved forward Wednesday with a one-day strike in Washington, D.C.
After walking off their jobs at a handful of high-profile federal buildings, an estimated 150 non-union workers marched to the White House. There, they presented presidential staffers with petitions containing about 250,000 signatures calling for the executive order. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Keith Ellison (D.-Minn.) joined the demonstration to issue public demands for Obama’s immediate action….Translation: Extortion of corporations with or without collective bargaining agreements, tax dollars from taxpayers and demanding that Obama raise hourly wages and improve benefits of federal workers in addition to excluding them from Obamacare by fiat is not only an injustice, double-standard and a possible scenario but a farce. Said farce of which Obama plans to use marches and strikes as justification toward granting waivers, etc. to his army.
Message to union membership across America, OWN IT and if you don’t like it, then I recommend you grow a set and take it up with your Communist leaders who continue to dispatch horrible advice while extorting union fees. Get out of your high chair. In particular because there are so many unemployed Americans still out here that employers can fill your jobs, which I pray they do, in a New York minute.
Message to federal employees, PFFT!
