Rumors Fly that Several Kenyan Mall Massacre Jihadists are American

The FBI is supposedly investigating reports made by Somalia's al Qaeda-linked group, al Shabaab that several of the jihadists involved in Saturday’s Islamic terrorist attack at the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya are Americans.

The claims, as reported by PJ Media stemmed from one of al-Shabaab’s twitter account has since been terminated by Twitter.
…We received permission to disclose the names of our mujahideen inside #Westgate,” their latest account tweeted.
They proceeded to tweet the names one by one, including Ahmed Mohamed Isse, 22, “native” of St. Paul, Minn., Abdifatah Osman Keenadiid, 24, of Minneapolis, and Gen Mustafe Noorudiin, 27, of Kansas City, Mo….

… The revelation that Americans could be involved in the terror atrocity came after a large explosion today rocked the upmarket mall where as many as 15 Islamic extremists had been holding the hostages a day after attacking it, killing at least 68 and injuring at least 175 people - including five Americans….
… The suggestion that Americans were involved in the deadly terror attack originated from the Twitter feed claiming to belong to the Somali al-Qaeda affiliate al-Shabab, which is claiming responsibility for the outrage….

Other allegedly named are jihadists from Finland, Somalia, Kenya and the UK.

As fast as Twitter can shut them down, al Shabaab has been re-opening Twitter accounts.  On their fifth account, as of this posting, they are back up and running under HSM Press Office, twitter handle @HSMPROffice .

Having run across a tweet claiming that the above information is incorrect and the names fake (see tweet below), I thought it worth the mention that as always, in the midst of chaos, rumors fly.  Whether the above allegations has any footing remains to be seen.
