Twin Suicide Bombing Outside Historic Pakistani Church Leaves 83 Dead

The war on Christians by jihadists does not let up.

On Sunday, as the world focused on the Islamic terrorist attack at the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, two Islamic suicide bombers blew themselves up as church goers exited the 129 year old All Saints Church in Peshawar, Pakistan which was offering lunch, a free meal of rice after service.

A wing of the Taliban is now claiming responsibility for the bombing which resulted in 83 dead, more than 120 wounded….so far.*

It was a peaceful Sunday Mass at All Saints’ Church in the old city quarters. Over 400 parishioners – among them many women and children – had just outstretched their hands to each other as part of the ‘sign of peace’. 
Some minutes later, when most of them had filed out of the church two blasts struck down nearly a quarter of them.
Within minutes blood and gore swept the historic white-stone church which was built to resemble a mosque as a gesture of interfaith harmony. Inside, pages of the Bible lay scattered near the altar and rice meals mingled with dust in the aisles amid mangled benches. Walls were pock-marked with ball bearings used in the suicide vests….

Another 120 people were wounded when the two bombers blew themselves up as worshippers left the church in the city of Peshawar, which had been offering a free meal of rice.
At least 34 women and seven children were among the dead, said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Nazir John, one of those at the church, said: ‘There were blasts and there was hell for all of us….

In the meantime, on Saturday, Pakistan released its most senior Afghan Taliban detainee, Abdul Ghani Baradar in an effort to jump-start speaks talks with Afghanistan.  Apparently, someone forgot to tell the Taliban unless, of course, this is part of a payback from the Taliban?
